Tegucigalpa With the aim of strengthening access to public information and strengthening links with citizens, the National Institute for Migration Honduras participated actively in the event organized by the Institute of Access to Public Information (IAIP), which was developed in the facilities of the National Autonomous University of Honduras (UNAH).

During the day, which was scheduled from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., dozens of young university students, teachers and administrative staff approached the information booth of the INM The participants received detailed guidance and personalized advice on the various procedures and services managed by the State institution.

The public service area featured the strategic participation of the Passport Department, Immigration Department, Human Rights Department, Delegations Coordination Office, and Transparency Office, providing an opportunity to address frequently asked questions regarding the issuance of travel documents, the regularization of foreign nationals, and the institution’s accountability mechanisms.

With this initiative, coordinated with other State institutions, the National Institute for Migration Honduras reaffirms its commitment to maintaining open door management, facilitating access to its services and promoting the exercise of the right to information for the benefit of Honduran society.
