The window unifies essential and high-tech procedures to facilitate direct care for families in Nahuaterique and nearby communities, providing services such as passport capture, extensions, registrations and renovations for foreigners.

In addition, it will function as an information and guidance centre for those in Honduras in this border area with El Salvador including information on immigration services for entry and exit.

The permanent presence of the immigration authority will directly complement government strategies consolidating Palo Blanco as the main centre of social development and civil security in the department of La Paz.
