Migration Honduras the Secretariat for Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation (SRECI), the National Registry of Persons (RNP) and the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) held an inter-agency meeting to advance the creation of a mechanism for humanitarian cooperation to identify, through fingerprints, migrants from Honduras and foreigners who died on the migration route.
This initiative seeks to strengthen inter-agency coordination, facilitate the identification of persons with disabilities and help their families to receive timely information, ensuring data confidentiality.
