Tegucigalpa. Following the launch of the National Electronic Billetera (BIEN V3) the authorities of the National Institute of Migration INM reported that they have incorporated into this initiative the Carné de Residencia de Extranjeros (CERe Digital).

"This integration allows users to prove their identity in a secure, agile and modern way, facilitating their actions with state institutions, the banking system and the commercial sector," said the Executive Director of the INM Carlos Cordero.
He added that this project demonstrates how coordination among institutions enables the development of solutions that have a real impact on people's lives and help to consolidate a more modern, efficient and inclusive State.

"It counts on the commitment of the National Institute of Migration to continue promoting projects that strengthen the digital transformation of the country and position Honduras as a regional benchmark in innovation and modernization of public services," Cordero said.
With this proposal INM eliminates physical barriers in identification, allowing the Digital CERe to be immediately accepted into the banking system, legal procedures and businesses at national level.
Resident aliens only need the file number of the INM to perform biometric verification through the app, linking your identity safely and under international standards (ISO/IEC 18013-5).
